You probably already know the answer to this, but it's always fun to see Joe Burrow's name firmly on top of the list for the best quarterback passing seasons in College Football from 2015-2021.

He won, and it wasn't close....

What is EPA?

I won't bash Mac Jones. The kid could play; he earned and deserves to be recognized for his fantastic season. But what Joe and that offense did in 2019 against THAT competition was other-worldly.

Yup. Bama fans do that all the time. You'd think they'd get fed up of eating dead Bear.

It would be safe to say that the 3* recruit from Ohio has the best EPA of all time in CFB. And where did he shine the best? Playing for the shrimp boat deckhand...

JB9 was a solid 4* QB out of High School.

Still think that 2020 season is BS. Bama got extremely lucky in that year where many teams had all kinds of problems with opt outs and covid and games not being played. They were one of the ultra rare team that had surefire top 2 round players return for their senior years.

"Lucky" that their players were committed and not quitters? Interesting assessment.

Yea, sorry our players were committed? Sound like a sore loser.

Lucky in that moment of their players missed games for Covid or contact tracing. Almost like they didn’t really follow the rules

Annnd these numbers are representing what exactly? What is an EPA? I’m sure no one here knows either. Lots of folks on his twitter are asking for explanations…he hasn’t answered.

I know Joe Burrow has a higher epa than Mac Jones and Tua Whateverhisnameis. That much we all can see.

Burrow is further ahead of Jones than Jones ahead of the #8 QB, Okie State's Mason Rudolph in 2017.

Totally amazing.

Surprised that Justin Fields in 2019 didnt make it. I remember he had 50 total TDs and 1 INT at the Heisman ceremony.

Clicking through to the link shows that 2019 Fields is #24 at 138.7. I am a bit surprised by that.

Even more shocking is that Trevor Lawrence isn't in the top 25 at all.

Fields and Lawrence both were overhyped...

Bailey Zappe of Western Kentucky, in 2021, had the 6th best overall score in this group.
But, somehow, lost the Heisman to a QB who is not even on this list.

Why stop at 2015 ? lets see the last 50 years where Joe ranks.

Joe was pinpoint with his accuracy but he had some excellent talents to throw to. They deserve some of the credit.

Why stop at that? He has the greatest season in the history of CFB for a passer. Like the dates don’t matter. He’s #1 all time.

A team can have 80 national championships, but only ONE team can be the greatest team of all time. 2019 LSU Tigers.
