LSU has extended an offer to all-purpose back Slade Bolden from West Monroe, LA.

Bolden described the offer as a dream come true.

Bolden, a three-star prospect from West Monroe High School holds offers from schools like TCU, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Arkansas, Washington, and others.

He is rated the No. 10 all-purpose back in the country for the 2018 according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. Per SECCountry.com:
quote:

Bolden has clocked a 4.52-second 40 time along with a 36-inch vertical. In the classroom, he sports a 4.0 GPA.

A brief look at Bolden’s junior season film shows that he plays quarterback for West Monroe. He is a big play waiting to happen from the Wildcat role. Bolden could very easily transition to a third-down back for LSU with the ability to reel in passes out of the backfield or even play out of the slot.

He does everything on offense except snap the ball. Maybe he just didn't include that in his highlight reel

Reminds me of another previous 3 star...Jacob Hester. Plays with passion, power and his brain.

He's white. That's the reason he reminds anyone of Hester.

I am very happy for him. Watched him through middle school and into high school. He is a true athlete and I hope we can land him. Stars are for Hollywood, this kid plays football.

Seems to be a real student of the game. Kinda like an extra coach on the field. He is surely a bring his lunch pail to work type of guy.

Not so sure the kid lacks melanin. He has speed, quickness, and a little cockiness. LSU's version of chris mccaff ???
