NFL Draft analyst Walter Cherepinsky released a 2017 mock NFL Draft recently and has seven LSU players projected as first round picks.
quote:

No. 3 - San Francisco 49ers: Leonard Fournette, RB, LSU

No. 6 - Atlanta Falcons: Jamal Adams, S, LSU

No. 10 - New York Giants: Tre'Davious White, CB, LSU

No. 16 - Washington Redskins: Malachi Dupre, WR, LSU

No. 18 - New York Jets: Lewis Neal, DE/OLB, LSU

No. 23 - Indianapolis Colts: Ethan Pocic, C/G, LSU

No. 32 - Carolina Panthers: Davon Godchaux, DE/DT, LSU

The Miami Hurricanes hold the record for most players selected in the first round in a single draft, which was 6 in 2004.

Think about this...

A first round talent in every unit except linebacker and quarterback. And we have beckwith at linebacker. Safety, cornerback, receiver, running back, oline. Wether or not they make the first round is almost irrelevant... That's incredible talent and experience everywhere.

Even mock drafts know that the Saints will never pick a player of LSU sighh....

Adams would shite his pants if he was drafted at #6

to ps101

We lost 3 games last year with a young team last year. Why would we lose 4 this year with a more experienced team?

Sigh. If ATL picks 6th, that's a bummer. If they then choose another Safety from LSU who won't see the field, double bummer.

I'd have to say barring injury, at least 4 of those are locks. Pocic is likely a first round guard and Godchaux could sneak in to the 1st.

If Neal and Beckwith both blow up for Aranda, they have the physical tools to both be 1st rounders (but I'd say 2nd round as of right now).

Fournette drafted by his favorite team. That would be pretty cool.

I had a dream we beat Wisconsin in Lambeau 31-7. This defense will be above average, and our offense should be experienced. No excuses.
