Highly touted four-star quarterback Arch Manning was in Baton Rouge Friday and competed in LSU’s 7-on-7 tournament. Check it out:

Lots of Joe Burrows balls were also under thrown but the balls were timed well and caught by the WR and put in a place only the WR could get to it. He may not come to LSU but saying he sucks is just dumb. He may not be the best QB in the country but all famous names get hyped. He’s going to have to live up to that hype and he has all the tools you could want or need to become a successful college QB. Stop with all the hate for someone who is not likely to come to LSU. Who cares, we have a great coach and who knows what can happen by the time signing day rolls around? I sure wouldn’t mind becoming the first Manning to play for LSU. There are no good reasons not to come? We have amazing coaches at LSU now and he’s going to compete at any school he ends up at. Why not LSU? Quit being little whiners about recruits.

You ask lots of questions which is great. Kudos to you Bayou Bengal #99. That is how you learn. ????You remind me a lot of Bayou Bengal #72.

Holy crap…7 video clips of a kid who will never even consider coming to LSU

Out of all those clips, only the last one looked like an impressive throw.

As others have mentioned, he has the underthrow down pat.

I’m not really on the “Arch Manning sucks he’s only rated high because of his name” bandwagon, but every deep pass in those first 3 videos looked under thrown. So to see the videos, and see people saying how awesome he looks, that makes me believe he’s being hyped cause of his name.

The irony is that no Manning has been successful in college so I’m not sure where the connection between the Manning name and college success comes from.

What? Both Eli and Peyton were All Americans. Peyton was a Heisman runner-up.

Arch is literally only rated that high because of his name. It is completely insane watching how other players look and then watching Arch and saying, "Yep, that's the best player this year".

Underthrows and behind, with zero pressure. No bueno.

This guy HAS to be the most overhyped player coming out of HS in the history of recruiting rankings.

I hope the kid does great things but the nonstop media/social media attention in today’s world before he even gets to college could be too much for a kid. I hope not, hopefully he overcomes it all and balls out.

#1 recruit in the nation. Why do people like you have to make yourselves feel better by attacking highschoolers?

Two for two on underthrown passes. No thanks.

Both those long balls were underthrown. The first is picked off in the SEC and the second is a 50/50 ball.

Really.....Not impressed at all. Most throws were 'off the mark' and he doesn't have an angry defense wanting to ring his bell!

Let’s be fair, you adjust as you get to know the speed of your receivers over time.

The first two "deep" balls were under thrown.
Not condemning the kid, though.
