While LSU might have lost some key players leading up to signing day, Rivals thinks the Tigers pulled off the biggest signing day flip by landing five-star offensive lineman Solomon Thomas from Florida State.

Thomas, a 6-4, 315-pound lineman from Jacksonville, Fla. (Raines), had been committed to the Seminoles since December of 2023 but is now locked in with the Tigers and OL coach Brad Davis.

Thomas is rated the No. 2 interior offensive lineman in the country for the class of 2025.

Also on Rivals' flip list was four-star wide-receiver Derek Meadows, who ended up at Alabama after Bryce Underwood left the class.

They specifically indicated flips on National Signing day. BU flipped prior to signing day.

These FLIPS ain't gonna get quite the backslappin or attaboy from me like in years past when it was about your school and your connection with the kid.

Now...the bigger wallet gets the FLIP...not nearly the coup.

Lost a bit of credibility when they listed Meadows as a surprise flip.

Why, it’s his opinion! So it was a surprise to him. May not have been to you but you didn’t write the article!

Hopefully he’ll be better than the other 5 star IOL Thomas that we recruited 6 years ago!

That was Cardell Thomas? That guy never got in shape. Not only was he overweight but his extra weight was definitely not in the right places on his body. LOL!

Imagine saying that 10 years ago. Now it’s not only legal in college football but it has to be done for survival.
