The LSU coaching staff extended an offer to four-star pro-style quarterback Ryan Hilinski from Orange, CA on Monday.

Hilinski is currently committed to South Carolina and is rated the No. 1 pocket passer for the class of 2019, according to ESPN.

The 6-4, 220-pound prospect holds offers from seven different SEC schools and gave his verbal commitment to the Gamecocks on April 4th, shortly after visiting Columbia.

This offense has no identity. O is just trying to win the recruiting game by any means necessary. He doesn't care about how a player fit, just their ranking!

So we offer the #1 pocket passer a week or so after he commits to South Carolina?? Lol

I’m confused, do we want a dual threat quarterback or a traditional quarterback? Wtf do we want our quarterbacks to do or are we just throwing shite at the wall and hoping it sticks?

I still cannot figure this “star” system. He is rated the No. 1 passer in the entire country but still only a 4 star?

Agree. Don't we have two five star quarterbacks right now?

This totally confuses me. Doesn't it say he's committed to South Carolina? Are we asking him to break his commitment? That's kind of crappy.

Where have you been exactly? This shite happens to LSU all the time. They flip away from LSU more than they flip too them lately though.

Why are we just now offering this kid? He should’ve been one of the first offers to be handed out for 2019.
