Three-star offensive tackle Bo Bordelon from New Orleans (Newman HS) announced Sunday that he has committed to LSU.

Bo's father Ben Bordelon played for the Tigers from 1993-1996. During a recent FOX8 segment with Garland Gillen, Bo talked about his family connections with LSU and what it was like to get his offer from Coach O:

The Tigers now have 10 verbal commits for the class of 2022 with the addition of Bordelon.

Pray bama don’t offer... I’m sick of respecting kids decisions.

That’s his mom? I fell in love with her after the WH video surfaced. She’s built to mate and obviously produce football studs.

My lord the OL is going to be old school LSU once again and I can’t flipping wait! We may not have had consistent coaching, QBs or defense worth a damn back in the 80’s and 90’s but LSU sure had some nasty OLman, RBs and TEs back then. We get back to that type of OL with this current roster and it won’t matter what Bama does or doesn’t do. LSU will be mauling teams if we can manage that. Time to put on some of the old film for these new guys and let them know that LSU is absolutely a place for big ugliness!

He comes from a very rich family. Why is LSU offering him a scholarship? Oh wait...is this to attract some other famous Rich kid?

He's being recruited as a Center, he will definitely need a couple years, I don't see that as bad, means he'll be a 4-5 year guy and a leader at Center. Great get

The instate early committments usually stick when its all said and done. It's the out of state guys we seem to lose every year. The two Olinemen we got from state for 2022 seem to be rock solid commits. Good start for building dept. Now if we can get another big time out of state Olinemen to actually sign then LSU is looking good .

Looking good for Emory Jones which would give us 4, Agbo would give us 5, this could be our best class o line class ever, anything after Emory is gravy

The 3 stars for this means nothing. He will develop into a great, athletic lineman with a solid work ethic and leadership skills. The definition of diamond in the rough. Awesome pickup.
