The LSU coaching staff received a big time commitment on Saturday from four-star defensive lineman Jaren Handy who was on campus this weekend for annual Junior Day event.

Handy, a 6-5, 260-pound prospect from New Augusta, MS (Perry Central HS) is rated the No. 7 strong-side defensive lineman in the country and the No. 6 overall player from the state of Mississippi for the class of 2019, according to 247 Sports.

The Tigers now have seven verbal commitments for the class 2019 with the addition of Handy.

Hmmm....I might have a chance to be nominated to be in one of these articles. Almost off every tee, on the golf course, I have to yell fore. I really don't like to self-gloss, but I am the Fore-Star King. Be-fore, I would just whiff.

I really hope this is a solid commit because I read where he said on March 1 that his dream school Alabama offered him his 13th offer. That was March 1st and he commits to us two days later I hope this is not like the Georgia trio and this is a real solid commitment.
