Stephen Lew-USA TODAY Sports
Three-star defensive tackle Dominic Livingston from Houston, TX announced Friday night that he has committed to LSU.

Livingston, a 6-3, 340-pound prospect from Aldine Davis High School was originally committed to Texas A&M but gave his verbal pledge to head coach Ed Orgeron on Friday.

LSU now has 20 verbal commitments for the class of 2018 with the addition of Livingston. Ten of those commitments are either offensive or defensive lineman, both positions which Orgeron said he would make a priority with this recruiting class.

I’m fairly well convinced that Saint Tiger is a Gump troll that has one job...to shite on LSU while claiming to be a Tiger fan. Busted. Welcome to LSU Mr. Livingston.

Shelvin plus Livingston equals depth in the middle. I heard much hate for Gilmore last season and he has been superb this year. Geaux Tigers!

I’m convinced the negative comments on here are just trolls. I won’t waste any time on them. I like the fact that O is getting guys that are in the 350 pound range. I don’t care what you’re star rating is, it’s hard to move a 350lb. man! And Coach O knows how to develop linemen, as per his background. The games are won in the trenches, and we’re getting some trench fillers! I love it! Welcome, big man!

And if we have three 350 pounders we can rotate them when they run out of breath.

Yes the decline in intelligent fans that understand just how worthless the "star" system is in gauging how good a player will be in college after actually being coached up by a great staff.

He's a big dude, I think we'll have some depth and a great rotation of fresh bodies in the 4th qtr. Just beat the gumps for heavens sake.
