Four-Star RB TreVonte' Citizen Announces Top 8 Schools

Talented four-star running back TreVonte' Citizen from Lake Charles, La. announced his top eight schools on Thursday and included LSU in the mix.

His top schools are Auburn, Nebraska, USC, Florida, Miami, Michigan State, LSU, and Grambling.

The 6-0, 217-pound prospect from Lake Charles College Prep was committed to LSU throughout this past season but reopened up his recruitment in late November just days before Brian Kelly was hired.

Citizen, who is rated the No. 2 running back in the country according to Rivals, remains a top priority for LSU as new associate head coach and running back coach Frank Wilson visited with him just days after he was hired.

Assembling some talent at GSU? This stupid SWAC nonsense is because of Neon Deon and it is laughable. Hell, ULM beat Jackson State and then JSU lost to a 6-5 South Carolina team for the “Championship”. Yet somehow “Prime” is some kind of Coaching Legend. Now this somehow extends to Grambling? OK.

I think Citizen should narrow his list down to Bethune-Cookman; Arkansas Pine Bluff; Alcorn State; Alabama State; Tennessee State; South Carolina State; Prairie View; Howard; Florida A&M; Southern; and Jackson State. Then choose McNeese.
