Unfortunately I’m seeing a Coach arc for Kelly. Will probably win a championship next year but things may go off the rails afterwards.

BioBobcat•22 months

I'd take that in a heartbeat.

Spankum•22 months

Every coach that has ever won a championship has had a “coaching arc”. There is nowhere to go but down after that!

Recruited heavily by both Ohio St & Tennessee. 6’5” 301. 2 year starter. A couple more of these. Another TE, Safeties would be nice

LSU beat Tenn and Auburn for 1 year of playing next year. Wonder what his payout is?

If he went to NW, he's no dummy that's for sure. That's the Midwestern version of Vanderbilt or an Ivy League school.

Wow crazy how this year and last r so different. Long term strategy? Nuss 2nd year, I don’t know, seems like last year was a throw away.

I think LSU and Kelly are adapting to the new landscape of college football on the fly and are starting to figure it out.

I agree. When situations change, wise people change their mind and/or approach.
It will be interesting to see what future brings. We all want to see 4and5 stars stay and develop but you need a mix of experience and leaders.

He must’ve still wanted to wear purple.
