Elite five-star power forward Naz Reid from Asbury Park, N.J. announced Friday night that his top two schools are LSU and Arizona.

Reid, a 6-10, 240 from Roselle Catholic High School is rated the No. 2 power forward and the 7th overall player in the country for the class of 2018, according to ESPN.

With the hire of new coach Will Wade and Reid's other connections to LSU, there is a very good chance the five-star prospect could end up in Baton Rouge. Per SBNation:

According to Zagoria, Reid talks with 2018 LSU commit Javonte Smart as well as 2017 LSU commit Tremont Waters. Reid’s girlfriend is also an incoming freshmen on LSU’s women’s team, all factors that could lead him toward Baton Rouge.

Man, if Wade continues getting recruits like this, we could be in the upper echelon of college basketball very quickly! Where are all the Alleva haters now? Lol

Allevas fate lives and dies with Ed O period.

Alleva came from a Basketball school and should bring in a young agressive talent like Wade, great hire! If O turns the football program into a dumpster fire like he did at Ole Miss, then he is gone.

Right here because the sport that truly counts has way too many questions from it's head coach.

Regardless of where he goes, it's simply amazing what Wade has done here in such a short period of time. Considering Smart and Reid have said they want to play together, I like our chances. Plus, look how much better that purple with gold looks on him.

It would be so amazing if he committed here. Someone with his talent, especially being from New Jersey. Will Wade, Smart, Waters deserve a lot of credit here.
