Dick Vitale Reports LSU Has Received Notice Of Allegations From NCAA, LSU Refutes Report

ESPN College Basketball commentator Dick Vitale tweeted this week that LSU has been notified by the NCAA of the various allegations involving the men's basketball team.

Vitale mentioned said that LSU Football is dealing with a "summary disposition" that is delaying the notice from the NCAA.

LSU Senior Associate Athletics Director Robert Munson said in the statement that these reports by Vitale are not true. Per 247Sports:

“LSU has not received any notice of allegations involving the men’s basketball program or any athletic program at LSU," Munson said in a statement.

Unfortunately, I fear this is a very likely scenario... and one that should cost him his job to be honest. If Cisse does not pick LSU, it tells me one thing; it was going to be LSU until Dick put that doubt out there. I hope this young man can see past what Dick is doing.
