I feel bad for her. She was so invested and was most likely the driving factor in his success. All of the support, all the drives to practices, encouragement, money spent, etc.. and he was so close. They're human. She just wanted her son to achieve something incredible

Wrestling isn't single elimination. There are Wrestle Back matches for 3-6 place. He lost out on wrestling for the championship.
