No more World Cup
Every Major Golf Tournament has concluded
Wimbledon is behind us
Joey Chestnut is behind us
No meaningful basketball (WGAF about decision 4.0)
No football
No college baseball
UFCs big Summer cards are behind us. The next 1 is weak.
Yet all that said, 47 days until all is well again. I havent been this excited for a CFB season since 19. Just gotta get through the next 7ish weeks.

MotoGP, F1, WEC, WRC, Indy, et al. The TdF is still going on to.

True if you only care about the top step of the GC.
The hunt for the 2nd and 3rd step just heated up after yesterday's stage. The fight between Seixas and Del Torro for third and also their fight for the white jersey could be great.
There is an interesting ITT tomorrow that starts with a long climb and there could be a serious fight between Remco and Tadej and Ganna may have saved enough to blow his load tomorrow even if the course doesn't suit him. Seixas and Del Torro will be fighting each other tooth and nail for time.
While Mads may be too far back at this point the points comp is still ongoing and will probably still be mathematically in play in Paris.
Separate from any who is where in the various competitions, this is a chance to watch the rider becoming the undisputed GOAT of the sport, having a prime season as well as a dominant Tour. This is a chance to watch the GOAT giving a truely GOAT performance.
This is the first time in US history we can watch a Tour tooth to tail with the GOAT of the sport putting in a GOAT grand tour performance. This is like MJ in the 92 or 96 finals.

Yeah summer is a good time for racing. I’m a sprint car fan myself and the summer is when all the biggest shows are.
As always, there are good sports all year long, it’s just a preference thing.

I watch the Braves on tv and have been to 6 games. Fun team to follow. Truist Park and the Battery are well done.
