Hot Tails is right there in Prairieville. It's really not far off the Highland Road exit.

Am I the only one who thinks the crawfish at Hot Tails is bland? I've been there once and that was enough. I know it's totally possible I went on an off evening, but I just was left very disappointed in their crawfish and felt like I could've gotten better seasoned crawfish north of Alexandria lol

It has more spice than Willie's or Sammy's. That being said, their recipe was definitely more spicy when they first opened.
It seems all restaurants in BR have dropped the spice. Are they appealing to an older crowd?

I thought Willie's had good flavor but spice was mild.

Yea who knows. In my opinion, boiled crawfish from Hole in Da Wall in Port Vincent has the absolute best boiled crawfish around. It's a drive from most places, but if you're ever in that area and want some boiled crawfish, I highly recommend buying some from there. It's seasoned to perfection and can be spicy enough to satisfy most crawfish eaters.

Great crawfish, but you can only get them to go.

I don’t think there are any good ones.

The only one I truly enjoyed prior to it closing down was the Porch Light Grill.

Go check out K&N Crawfish on highway 447 headed to walker. They have outdoor seating. The address says Denham but it’s really closer to Walker.
