Not seeing how SEC keeps 2022 “NFL” guys from playing in 2026

No way a court doesn’t side with the 2022 guys ,who don’t make NFL rosters, that they should not be able to play CFB in 2026 should they choose.
For many of these guys, had they known that 5 for 5 was going to be an option for the class of 2022 they would not have left their schools and entered the draft.
-irreparable harm- CHECK
-likelihood of winning on merits - CHECK
If LSU wants Pyburn and Co., they will be suited up for Clemson.

Yeah they have no leg to stand on. The original TRO says the NCAA and "all persons acting in concert or participation with"
Guess the judge will have to spell it out for them. This means you SEC. This means you Big 10, etc
Now a lotta folks think the next step is the SEC taking it straight to federal court.

The SEC is trying to use the playbook the Big 12 used with Sorsby. But these are two different situations. Whereas betting on your own team was unanimously ridiculed by every sports fan, this situation is not that. Particularly when they have sat idly by for years and (a) let "pros" from other leagues play in the SEC and (b) said nothing about the BS arguments to get SEC QBs extra years (i.e. Pavia and Chambliss)
Frankly, I don' t care. The SEC sat by for DECADES happily collecting millions up millions in revenue for the rights to broadcast games (just like the NFL does) while simultaneously hanging on the farce that the players were just "amateurs" who played no role in helping generate those millions

Yeah, I thought all this hoopla only applied to the 2022 players because of their unique circumstance (which occurred because the NCAA won’t read a calendar…).
And I have no idea what the rules are for basketball….
But this back and forth, late decisions, etc has to get corrected. It’s absurd.

Unless Lane decides its nor worth it, or the school orders him to not sign these players.
These guys are collecting damages either way. Now, the SEC and B1G just join the groups that will have to pay them. It wouldn't surprise me if the ACC and Big 12 decide not to pass these rules to avoid having to become defendants, thinking that the SEC and B1G can take the hit.
