Played golf with his grandfather yesterday. Starting QB at Mandeville and recently received an offer from Syracuse. Grandfather says he bleeds purple and gold. Anybody have any thoughts on this kid?

No, but that’s a hell of a travel ball name.

You don't see many freshmen starting at QB in 5A. Very athletic when I saw him. He could end up being really, really good.

Just saw his freshman year stats; pretty impressive:

1st Team All St. Tammany Parish QB, 2nd Team All District 6-5A QB and Northshore Prep Report Freshman of the Year.

Kids been a stud athlete in this area for awhile now. Good head on his shoulders too, humble kid. His dad and uncle played at McNeese.

Not sure if he's on the LSU track but he's got a bright future.

His other grandfather is a very good customer of mine. He brought me a big check yesterday. His mom is tiny, like 4'10" and my guy says he may have maxed out on height at this point. He's a lefty.

He’s a big, athletic kid for his grade level. I believe he’s a year older than most kids in his grade though. Seen him play soccer (8th grade) as well. Just unfair at that level. Honestly soccer might have been his best sport but i don’t know if he plays it anymore. Easily a major conference soccer player at the college level.

Seems to be doing okay on the gridiron though. Crazy to think the kid was playing 8th grade soccer in January and 6 months later is a starting varsity QB.

He is playing football and basketball in high school. No more soccer.

He played a lot of travel baseball until he maxed out, his Dad always said he was a QB not a lefty pitcher.
He was always a big barrel chested kid since about 11. But stopped growing.l last couple years.
He did a great job coming off the bench after their senior qb blew out a knee in the opener last year.
He has two tall tight ends and a few good backs to help him.

He is wasting his time playing basketball, he’s average and has no future in it. If he’s a qb he probably needs to quit.
