re: My (Shortened) Trip Review: Cambodia and Southern Laos (pic heavy) - MnM on 2/25/18 at 11:15 pm
Great pics! Looks like it was a successful trip. Makes me want to go back to se Asia again. You didn't happen to meet an American named Brian that was wearing a Georgia shirt while you were there?...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)
re: Mad Monkey Hostels in Asia - MnM on 1/18/18 at 2:13 pm
You'll be fine there as long as you book a room with one bed. If you stay in the dorm you probably won't like it and would be better off booking a hotel. I recommended my friends stay at the one in siem reap and when they got back they said it was there favorite place they stayed over their 3 week A...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
re: Hostels in Europe- what are your opinions? - MnM on 1/12/18 at 2:17 pm
Hostels are fine as long as you go into it with the right mindset. Do some research on the best hostels in the city. Hostels can vary a lot in terms of how nice they are. If you want to meet new people and have some fun, hostels are a good route to go. I would recommend not booking a room with over ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)

re: What's the deal with Secondary Security Screening Selection? - MnM on 9/9/17 at 11:18 pm
Definitely not completely random in all circumstances. My gf gets checked every time we fly back back into the US and I never do. Probably random in his case though. ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)
re: Updated - Going to Laos and Myanmar - MnM on 9/7/17 at 11:05 pm
I went to Rangoon, bagan, and inle lake. Bagan was really cool with all the ancient temples and I remember inle lake having an amazing landscape. At the time I was there visas had just opened up so there weren't many westerns or tourists. It felt like going back in time 30 years. Not sure if it's s...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)

re: Is there a way to watch sports without cable? - MnM on 8/7/17 at 1:43 pm
If root sports is a channel you must have you're stuck with paying for cable. There's no streaming option for this channel and the MLB and NBA streaming packages block the games that are only broadcast by root sports. ...

re: 50 days in Southeast Asia - MnM on 7/5/17 at 8:54 pm
I back packed for 4 months through se Asia, here are my suggestions for scenery, scuba diving, and partying. For a 50 day trip I would make sure to hit Thailand, Myanmar, Vietnam, and Cambodia. Scuba diving- the best diving is probably in the Philippines, Indonesia, and Malaysia. I think the bes...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
re: Anyone been to Nicaragua? - MnM on 6/13/17 at 10:33 pm
Went to San Juan Del sur a few years ago for 5 days and it was pretty sweet. I would recommend it for a cheap vacation. We hit Grenada on the way back to the airport and was cool seeing that city as well. ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
re: Anyone here ever been to Nicaragua? - MnM on 5/9/17 at 1:11 pm
It's a pretty cool little surf town. I spent a week there a couple years ago. There's a few surf beaches 10-20 min away from the town that are good to spend a day at. If you're young and wanting to party a bit make sure you go to Sunday fun day. If you haven't booked a place yet you should book this...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
re: Phuket, Siem Reap, or Hoi An? - MnM on 4/16/17 at 1:50 pm
If you're gonna do Thailand stay in krabi over Phuket. Siem reap and hoi an were two of my favorite places so im biased to those two but any of those three would be great. I guess ultimately it depends on what type of activities you want to do. ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
