Can anyone recommend a TV mount that’s easy to take on and off?

Hey folks -

Looking to mount a 55inch tv outdoors. The area is under an overhang but not SUPER covered. In times of heavy rain, or for the winter (I’m in NJ) I’d like to be able to grab the TV and stick it in the garage. The patio is wide, and there are a few different “seating” areas, so swivel/articulating is a big plus. Any help is appreciated!

Thanks!

Ikea made the absolute perfect one but it's not available anymore. It was so damn easy to take the tv on and off.

All you just to do was screw the black cylinders to the tv back and then slip those little shower curtain hangars on the rail and then just line the tv up with them and done.

Took longer to plug it in than it did to take it on and off.

Too bad they discontinued it. Check eBay.

Eta my setup at my old house

Get the picture hanger / wire mount from ebay or amazon like $30. Just hang tv like you hang a picture on the wall

Check out “mounting dream” tv mount on amazon. Cheap and pretty easy to take tv on and off assuming it’s not mounted too high. Not sure how it would do outside though. Seems to be powder coated pretty well so I think it would be ok.

I have all TVs in my house mounted to the wall with this $25 mount from Amazon.

It’s got nearly 62000 reviews. To take off the tv, all you do is pull 2 small strings that release the tabs holding the tv on the mounting hardware.

So your recommendation is something that is no longer available?
