It’s the beach boys. Full stop. I’ll elaborate if I have to, but there’s not much debate

Alice in Chains - not the same level as already listed, but I'd argue the best in heavier/heavyish music

It’s not the Beatles and even Paul McCartney would agree. It’s the beach boys. Shut down the thread

If you have a better comparison from the Beatles show me

If you have to include a "country rock" act, I'd probably go with Poco over the Eagles.

Music, food, cars, and term life insurance.

Much room for debate!

For the heavier side of things, I would argue Dokken. Here's a nice live example:

How have we gone this far without a mention of
Crosby, Stills, Nash (and Young)?

Crosby Stills and Nash is the first to come to mind.
Also, Lots of bluegrass bands, especially family members aka ‘blood harmony’

The Louvin Brothers have to be high up there with that blood harmony.

The Statler Brothers and the most well known version of the Oak Ridge Boys were pretty good too.
