re: Lab with really bad breath
Posted by Jef75 on 11/28/25 at 1:02 pm to quail_bird
Had this situation with our dog, ended up being a piece of stick lodged in her throat that had gotten covered in plaque. No other signs, breathing was fine, no distress that we could tell. Vet got it out pretty easily, solved problem

I'm hearing good things about Xotic SL Drive, catalinabread DLS and wampler plexi Drive. Any first hand experiences? Thanx in advance...
I'm a small timer Robinhood trader, excuse my ignorance. I saw offering for Fermi IPO this morning. It's a Texas based energy tech company than plans on using air cooled nuclear, natural gas and whatever else to power ai data centers. Rick Perry is involved. They're supposedly hitting construction benchmarks and have a good shot at maneuvering Texas regulations. Initial offering is between $18-$22 a share. Probably years before actual profitability. Thoughts? Thanx in advance...
re: Charlie Kirk assassinated in Utah

Marina Medved said that the video showing blood pouring out of Charlie Kirk's neck is an AI Fake.
Marinaa Medvin @MarinaMedvin
There is an AI-altered video circulating showing a close up of a bullet going into Charlie Kirk's neck.
The shooting of Charlie Kirk is real. His injury is real. The long-range video of the shooting is real. But the close-up video that just started circulating is AI.
Don't share AI-generated videos of real events. It creates confusion and causes people to doubt the reality of actual videos depicting real life.

If ever I need a homicide detective, I want the Tulsa crew for sure. Unless you post your crime on facebook or were directly in front of a working camera, the New Orleans team probably ain't solving it...

re: I think there needs to be some clarification on this board about NATO for some
Posted by Jef75 on 3/4/25 at 1:35 pm to Grumpy Nemesis
Why are so many of our NATO allies buying Russian energy? Even now? How does that advance our special relationship?
re: Gordan McKernan vs Morris Bart - Billboard and advertising War
Posted by Jef75 on 2/21/25 at 9:39 am to Tall Tiger
Only entity wining this battle is Lamar advertising. I knew a guy running for office and the only way he could get a billboard was to get one of the lawyers to agree to share what they had already contractually purchased.

re: Ukraine to EU?
Posted by Jef75 on 2/19/25 at 10:59 am to aTmTexas Dillo
If Europe desires a formal alliance with Ukraine, as they appear to within NATO, for deterrence, they have the means to do that. How is that different from NATO membership? Except US involvement?
Ukraine to EU?
Posted by Jef75 on 2/19/25 at 10:53 am
If only there was a Union in Europe, a multi-country organization that could provide for the well being and safety of its members, that would accept Ukraine without involving NATO members from other continents, that would be great. Wouldn’t that solve all the problems? Couldn't Germany, Austria, Poland, France etc. fast track that?
William the Conqueror gotta be on there
re: Louisiana and NOLA peeps, what’s your thoughts on George Soros buying WWL?

1. Identify a respected institution.
2. kill it.
3. gut it.
4. wear its carcass as a skin suit, while demanding respect.

RBG didnt think Roe V Wade was very solid...
from Google:
She believed that the Roe v Wade case had based the right to abortion on the wrong argument, a violation of a woman's privacy rather than on gender equality. This, she thought, left the ruling vulnerable to targeted legal attacks by anti-abortion activists.

I have two, one from Constantine after converting to Christianity and one from his son, who was like a lesser position, maybe a governor. It's a cool hobby, don't let these fools break ya. I'd like to get something from Athens at some point
It's required by state law before officially purging inactive voters. These are people who haven't voted in two federal election cycles AND can't have home addresses verified through reasonable means. It's aim is to combat voter fraud. Advocate runs them as paid advertising on behalf of state
That's not how you tread...
