Can y’all give me any info on lodging/skiing Beaver Creek? Looking for ski in/out with the possibility of views of the lift. I was wondering what area offered the most activities/amenities. There’s not much info about the Arrowhead Village. Looking for something that’s 2 bedroom and not outrageously high. Thanks.

Kinda stuck between Beaver Creek and Copper.

I'm a big fan of Beaver Creek. The mountain is tall with a lot of variability in the trails. If I go back, I'm staying at the Park Hyatt there. Cannot beat the location. Book well in advance with 25k Chase UR / night.

Park Hyatt definitely has the best location as it is central to the BC village. Slopes out the backside and skating rink out the front.

I prefer the Osprey or the Pines Lodge. The Osprey has a lift just outside (true ski in/ski out) and has a nice ski valet. The Pines is also ski in/ski out, just not quite as close as the Osprey.

I have no experience with Arrowhead, I'm sure there are more affordable options over there, you're just not going to be able to walk to BC Village.

I stayed at the Osprey last time and was satisfied. Although the Strawberry Park lift is not near as good as the ones closer to the Hyatt.

I tried to ski in to the Osprey late in the season last year and caught some concrete and faceplanted in front of a babe hanging out on the front steps

Used to go on an annual trip to BC every year but we were fortunate family had a timeshare at St James Place in the main village. If you want to stay on the mountain be prepared to spend, otherwise you can save some money staying in Avon right off the interstate and using the bus each day. What kind of activities you looking for? BC is very family oriented and pretty quiet at night. 3pm free chocolate chip cookies at the base each day is nice though along with the escalators to the lifts. Some great terrain as well and lower lift lines than the rest of the Epic resorts along 70.

I don't know if you still can, but Hyatt Visa I believe had a deal where if you open up a CC account with them you get 2 days free at any Hyatt. That was a couple of years ago I haven't look into it in a while.

If you're a beginner skier, don't let your a-hole friends take you to the top and send you down Birds of Prey...

Solid advice, wish I would have heard that before I tore my ACL going down a mountain a couple years ago. I had only snowboarded and on the last day I tried to ski and I was with assholes friends who convinced me the run was ok. 100 yards in, ACL snapped and had to get rescued from the mountain. Sucked
