Chris Doering summed it up perfectly. Talked about the stars, social media and asked, “What is LSU’s biggest win?”
He ain’t wrong. From the beginning I could do without Kiffin’s social media bs, the trolling, complaining about kick off times, etc. it brings unnecessary attention to unimportant things. Kirby Smart doesn’t need it. Saban didn’t need. They just went to work. Cut the bs. Get rid of the basketball goal. STFU and win a big game. Two weeks and you didn’t think to work on red zone productivity? That was the best you and Weis, supposed offensive prodigies, got? You’re being paid a lot of money to win football games, not become an influencer. Leave that to Livvy.

Kiffin wants to be a mix of Pete Carroll and Saban. Carroll did all the flashy shite at USC.
I don’t see how you can have it both ways because Saban’s entire “process” was about cutting out the noise and focusing on football.

He’s spot on and this game epitomizes it. All the yardage stats in and 13 pitiful points. These are paper tigers that look good on paper but can’t win a big game to save their lives.

I have no problem with Kiffin bringing back LSU players for the walk into the stadium because that shows culture. That will hype people up more than Kevin Costner. He needs to quit with that bullshite and concentrate on football. Up his trt dose or something like that, This is a red state. We don't give a frick about Hollywood here.

Doering is a perennial LSU hater and can't wait to lean in when they lose. But you can't argue the absurdity of a performance like last night versus bama. The lack of substance was a combination of poor preparation, careless mistakes, and head-scratch play calling in the red zone.

Consider the TE room comparison. We love Tre'dez for his pass catching skills, but Bama has a couple of 6'6" 265-lb bruisers who can both catch and block. They made a big difference in yesterday's game.
