All previous places kept their Stars. Dakar got a star, only new Star added for Nola.

A few new places got added to the recommend and bib list, like Saint Claire, Crustacean Club, Casimiro, Safta’s Table, Jewel of the South, and a place I have talked about on here, Evviva.

Don't see Shark's Fish and Chicken in Shreveport on there. List is shite.

Safta’s Table,
Odd choice, I’ll be surprised if this place is open in 2 years. It always seems dead.

1 year.

I thought it was a good idea especially where located but it definitely has not translated. It’s also just a ludicrous selection.

Agreed, we've been a couple of times and it's good, but not great.

I will be very surprised if it lasts.

100% agree with this. They are struggling and Alon likely pushed hard with Michelin on this to try and save that business

I think they have done a bad job making it work. It just doesn't make a lot of sense

On paper, I think it was a good idea. Quality fast causal Mediterranean from a well known local chef.

The problem is “fast casual” today sets a family of four back 80-100 bucks and the number of people willing to/ able to do that cannot sustain a restaurant.

Put Cava in that spot and it does twice the business.

Yeah, agreed.

That's what I kinda thought they were gonna do. Like a local chefy version of Cava with somewhat similar prices.

But its not that, they kept making it more expensive

Not to mention that old man who worked there at the beginning was just the biggest a-hole ever to deal with. And the ordering and so on was a hassle

They just did a very bad job with it

The food has been good when I have eaten it however

Wanted to grab one of the take and bake lasagnas and it was over $40. Said absolutely no way.

The food itself was very solid, and the staff was helpful with helping us find something that fit my toddlers allergy requirements. The Halvah Latte is outstanding.

Agreed, I like their chicken schnitzel sandwich a lot but it’s $20 and that’s before drink and tax. Pretty pricey for counter service.

Off topic. But Anthony’s in BR is high too.

I think it is well understood you pay for Michelin to come in and find some starred restaurants.

I would imagine Michilen agrees to the payment knowing there are starred options in the area.
