Dehghani-Tafti admitted that there are some cases where considering a criminal alien's immigration status is appropriate, which may include:
-Disarming a police officer
-Child victims
-Domestic violence
-Assault
-Possession of a fraudulent ID

The county's latest "Trust Policy" prohibits the Arlington County Police Department from initiating contact with ICE, even if they identify an illegal alien as a:

Been this way for years. Being an illegal = get out jail free card in many sanctuary jurisdictions.
