He's eligible to make a big jump in production. If Garrett or Walker has what it takes to beat him out, well, may the best man win. If Garrett, Walker, or Jayden starts. That's who I'm cheering for. Downvote at will

Please stop it. Jayden could still improve. However, that's really just wishful thinking. He barely improved throughout the season. He had 3 straight games where his play was REALLY good but he had a stretch with subpar performance as well.
That said, Burrow was in his 1st year starting in 2018. So yes, he made a major jump in 2019. JD5 has now started 4 years straight. People also bring up Hendon Hooker but fail to mention how he transferred to a team with loads more talent. That had a HUGE effect on his improvement, plus Huepel ran an offensive scheme that gave him every opportunity to succeed.

yep. I dont know why the fans feel like they have to get all worked up over it and say who is the right choice and who is the wrong choice. The coaches will put 1 behind center and that is who I will be cheering for.
We are lucky to have multiple options, the coaches will figure out who gives us the best chance of winning any given saturday

Jayden looks more like Jordan Jefferson than Joe Burrow.

Ok, well I disagree, I think it was pretty obvious he improved as a passer as the season went on, he just got injured. Being a negative nancy isnt going to benefit anyone, he is going to be our starting QB next year and I'm personally excited about our potential.

Joe Burrow was not a starter previously before he got here for three years, Daniels hit his ceiling last year here he will not be any different next year.

be ready to cheer for walker and tell daniels to learn how to carry the headset this season coming

Damn, as much as I am hopeful on JD (or for any QB we have to step up)... What you just said sir, is an uncanny truth. Although JJ may have faced a more competitive plethora of opponents, JD may be more athletic. I guess?

People saying he didn’t improve as season went on obviously do not know football. Let him stay in a system for more than a year and let’s see what happens.

JOE BURROW at LSU is a very difficult "apple to oranges" QB to use. With his talents amongst others surrounding him, you really can't compare.

Because they don't love LSU, they love certain players. And when the player who they personally like doesn't start. They hate on the player that beat him out.

I agree. Both are African American. Both are over 6 feet tall and weigh over 200 lbs, both beat Alabama. But his TD-to-INT ratio is more Like Joe, he transferred and started like Joe, and he has 1 more yr left as Joe did.

That's why it's called opinions and not facts. We all have one. You think he reached his ceiling, I think he still has room to grow.

If Walker is the starter I'll be cheering for him, the same way I cheered for his father as a kid.

This is a fact that even Jaydens most ardent supporters couldn’t deny.

Why? he doesn't want it to be competitive at all positions?
