How do you have 10-12 pitchers having trouble throwing strikes?

While I somewhat agree, Yeskie can’t make them throw strikes and execute pitches. Development is key, sure, but this staff is mentally weak and poop their pants in big situations.

Because we are trying to spot pitches on the very edges and they dont have that kind of control

Yeskie is certainly responsible for their mechanics and when they miss as consistently bad as we’re seeing it’s obvious Yeskie is in over his head.

I’ve seen middle school kids locate better than this shite.

Yeah there's definitely something to this. We cant possibly just have the worst strike throwers in the conference.

I think they are being asked to be too precise. Jay always talks about competitive strikes. I get you dont want to just throw meatballs right over the plate but you cant just be ok walking everyone in lieu of just throwing a damn strike regardless of where its at.

No matter how many times your dumb arse says this, it won't be true.

People were singing Yeskie’s praises last year, how well the staff developed throughout the season. Did something change with Yeskie? Probably not. Blaming coaches is the lazy way out. Does he deserve some blame, of course, but he can’t make kids execute

Trust me I remember fans saying the same thing about Wes Johnson at times in 2023 as they are Yeskie this year.

We need to pitch to contact and see how things go. It can’t be any worse than the damage we do with our free bases allowed

To a certain extent, sure, but if mechanics feel off during an outing it’s up to pitchers to make an adjustment, not Yeskie.

This take proves some of y’all never played baseball at a decently high level

They were not coached up to make an adjustment

This is just fricking dumb. If anything, Jay and his staff are too analytical.

No this is the most poorly coached team in all facets of the game. If you can’t see that then that is dumb

This is little league scooter. Errors and walks aren’t poor coaching. They’re lack of execution.

It’s pure fear. Nibble nibble nibble the pitchers are scared to throw strikes. Somehow they think walks are better than risking a ball be put into play
