A guy I knew in the army was named Richard Short. From Richard, came Dick. Given how common it is on the Army to call people by their last name, it didn’t take long for him to pick up the nickname “short dick”, even Top called him this.

In high school a frequent substitute was Mrs Raper , We felt It was a contest to see who could say, " Mrs Raper, the most times and ask a stupid question.

I think it was either 7th or 8th grade where our Science teacher was named Euthema (pronounced “Eww-theme-ah). This was back when knowing the first name of a teacher was rare. But when we found out, and I don’t remember how we did, that her first name was “Euthema”, we started randomly “sneezing” her name in class. It would start with one guy the back corner, then another would do it a few min later on the other side of the room, then someone in the middle, etc. We’d wait until she was turned writing something on the chalkboard so she wasn’t sure who did it. Drove her nuts. Once she ran out of the room crying. There were some paddlings handed out by the vice principal for that, myself included.
