Truth Social selling posts

I haven’t seen it posted but thought it worth some discussion.
Trump’s Truth Social has announced a new membership program that will allow members to get a jump on Trumps truth social posts before they’re released to the public. Technically, the post is already public but the membership gives instantaneous access rather than waiting for them to percolate into the general feed.
The time from post to public can be second to milliseconds so this really favors those that trade in high frequency or algorithmic traders.
It’s evidently legal.
Personally I think it’s unethical. I also think it opens doors to motivate the Poster to put out more market moving material.

If payments collected go to the U.S. Treasury and not Trump's pocket (minus overhead), I have no problem with it.

Just because Kamala is a horrible candidate and didn’t even get her own parties nomination doesn't mean that this type of activity should be tolerated.

I think it certainly can give an edge for those that can execute a trade within that quick window. I think it favors the Wall Street firms and others that have that trading ability.
