re: Suppressing a rifle - jrodfishin
I have a buddy with a suppressed ruger American 22. Its dead quiet and he just recently put the hammer down on some pigs with it. He put it behind the shoulder. Also, he was hunting in a field so he could watch them die 20 yards away....

re: Suppressing a rifle - jrodfishin
No, I don't. This will be my first time purchasing one. I have a 17 I'd rather suppress but from what I gathered during research, it doesn't quiet the rifle that well. And I plan on putting a thermal scope on it for night time pig hunting so removing the front sight won't be an issue ...

Anyone recommends anybody specific to thread a barrel for a suppressor and a rough cost on how much that job is? Also, open to other calibers to suppress. Just want somethi...

re: Well Well Well...Crossbows aren't helping after all - jrodfishin
I have no problem with anyone of any age using a crossbow, if they have a health issue preventing them from being able to use a bow during archery season. I think someone in good health that is using a crossbow is just pure out to lazy to learn how to shoot a regular bow....
