Ducks are heading South!

I drive a good stretch of I49 for work. After this cool front I'm happy to report that the ducks have moved from the pond right next to exit 81 just south of Alexandria. They are now in the bar ponds around mile marker 79.

If these patterns continue I estimate they should be in the crawfish ponds at Woodworth around mid March. Hope you guys find this helpful.

I used to hunt those crawfish ponds when they were stocked with farm raised catfish. We used to smash the grey ducks in there. Saw some really nice bucks come out and eat clover on those levees next to the woods also but we weren't allowed to deer hunt.

Looks like a decent front coming throught the Midwest tomorrow. Hopefully be a decent push.

If you can get permission to hunt some fields that re flooded from the river, you can kill some ducks.

note for record hunting an a flooded cow pasture with cattle feed is...Not legal.....

no, but hunting over freshly flooded grass is legal
