One of the worst attributes of the LSU message board fanbase is that we eat our own. I’m one of the culprits.

We are, as a fanbase and as a culture, despised by the rest of the country, especially the SEC. I live outside of Louisiana and truly see and feel this vitriol.

Kiffin chose to uproot a comfortable life to take a gamble on something better. He believes he’ll win titles here, or he would have stayed at OM.

We should unite around the fact that we are legitimately isolated as a fanbase and Kiffin risked it all to be here.

Quit worrying about money you didn’t spend on players you don’t personally know. Show up Saturday, support the team, support the program, realize there will be setbacks, but understand it really is us against everyone else. Let’s not make it worse on ourselves.

What about the people that did spend money on these players? And are not getting the ROI they were promised?

We should expect and demand better but I do agree with you. The whole state gave Lane the farm and then some only to so far end up with crap results. We are better than that.

Hope he gets things turned around, but frankly, I'm tired as sheeeet about Baker and his idiocy. It's gotten old and hopefully he gets the boot.

There are 8 Top 25 teams that are undefeated. Of those, only one (Georgia) has played a comparable schedule. Notre Dame, Miami, Indiana, BYU, Texas Tech, Utah and UCLA play weaker schedules in weaker conferences and have not sustained injuries to key players.

Have some brevity.

I’m one who gives to the program in a decent amount. I’m good with it, especially under the circumstances.

We are 4-2 with a loss to Top 10 OM in an impossible environment (a program Lane built) and a loss to No 15 Kentucky at their place with a depleted roster.

It’s gonna be okay.

Although the horizon doesn't look promising with Bama and Texas games, season is still in front of them and still in position to control their own destiny. I wish some of the doom and gloom overreactors would wait until the season's over for final end product before jumping off the ledge, and keep in mind that this team's had horrible luck with injuries to two of its best, most impactful players which is hard to overcome.

Texas has definitely played a harder schedule than us so far. We haven’t hit the difficult part of our schedule yet, yet we already have 2 losses.
Also, Texas has the hardest schedule in the country overall.

We will beat Texas at home and every remaining road game is winnable. We can beat Alabama at home. If that happens, with injuries we have sustained, Kiffin should be in running for coach of the year, and we will be playoff bound. That can happen,

I should not care this much; that loss and the way it happened stuck a dagger through my heart. One freaking yard is all you needed. Jesus!

How much did you spend?
The same could be said for Ohio state, AM, Texas, Miami, and Oregon boosters who spend the most in college football and who have been doing so for years. Why should year one Kiffin be compared to those guys?

The “Alumni” need to rally and bring all power to bear in removing Sankey.

Same and I do not understand why. Louisiana is the most live and let live state I have ever seen.

It is one of the most culturally diverse as well. Some of the best food and people in the country.

But come up here to….Ohio lololol and they despise us for no reason other than its southern.

The north, and that includes Kentucky btw, is one of the least inviting, unfriendly, dog shite food, fat uggglllyyyy women having places I’ve ever had the misfortune of living

If not for my mother (who was born and spent 40+ years in Louisiana) and my gfs family, I would be gone in an instant. Mom just can’t handle the heat anymore

I agree with you on beating Texas. I feel like they're overrated and not a believer in Sark. But not a good felling about Bama and Tenner on the road.

I don’t disagree, but do think we can beat both. UTenn is not that good. Alabama is legit good but they are beatable at home (could have Green and maybe Whit back by then too).

One thing that’s always brought up here is this thought that we’re the only fanbase that overreacts.

This board is no different than any other. It’s either head in the clouds or doom & gloom.

I would like to add the fact that LSU "should" have won those games and had some bad football fortune out of their control. We're being tested with adversity. That's how it is on the way up.

If he stays around long enough. History has him leaving LSU for greener pastures.
