The Jackson Parish Sheriff’s Office announced they have identified the woman arrested Friday morning after leading deputies on a multi-parish, high-speed chase that reached speeds of 120 mph and ended in a crash.
JPSO said they booked 55-year-old Heather Urena, of Alexandria, into the Jackson Parish Jail on the following charges:
Aggravated Flight from an Officer
Aggravated Assault with a Motor Vehicle upon a Peace Officer
Criminal Damage to Property
Winn Parish Sheriff Josh Mcallister said Urena will also face charges in Winn Parish.
The incident began at 11:05 a.m. north of Winnfield in Winn Parish, according to Mcallister. Urena then fled north on Highway 167 into Jackson Parish at speeds exceeding 105 mph.
Jackson Parish deputies joined the pursuit south of Jonesboro. Urena continued into Lincoln Parish, where speeds surpassed 120 mph, before turning back toward Jackson Parish on Highway 146.
During the chase, Urena collided with a Winn Parish patrol unit in Chatham and managed to evade spike strips deployed on Louvera Lane.
The chase ended at 12:11 p.m. near the West Rock paper mill (formerly Smurfit Container) in Hodge. Deputies noted that Urena suddenly slammed on her brakes, causing a pursuing Jackson Parish deputy to strike her vehicle from behind. Her Honda CR-V then veered into a grassy area, where a deputy blocked her path.
According to deputies Urena was transported to Jackson Parish Hospital for evaluation and subsequently released into police custody. No deputies or bystanders were injured in the pursuit.
I guess she never heard about the Dodson speed trap.

Went to kindergarten there. My sister went to Jonesboro-Hodge and taught me about crackers and burnt toast.

Definitely has the Jackson Parish look about her. Eros-ish, no doubt.
