I don’t want to compare the two because Leavitt isnt Burrow but one thing I have noticed is how effortlessly Sam throws the ball. He makes the hard throws look like he isn’t even trying, but they are spot on. Joe was like that and it’s just seems like they have a similar demeanor with the ball. I hope Leavitt can put it together like Burrow.

I’m so ready for football season!

GEAUX TIGERS!!!

I watched his highlights vs Mississippi St and I did in fact, not see this.

Leavitt’s OL was so bad and the rest of offense sans Tyson was extremely mid. If anyone watched ASU’s games they would see that Sam had to be superman every game. And still beat a real good Texas Tech team

So you decided to make an entire post comparing the two?

If this is what you are going off of, there’s probably a lot of QB’s around the country that would make you feel like this.

One hadn’t started a game before he did in purple and gold the other has started two seasons in a row.

Jayden is a better comp from an experience standpoint. Jayden’s Arizona State offense did not throw the ball downfield. Sam’s ASU offense did. He should be fine other than the decision in when to escape. That may take him a game or two to figure out because of the speed of the front seven

People can be positive. But in this thread you have people comparing Sam Leavitt to both Joe Burrow and Jayden Daniels. Might be a little premature, no?

They BOTH have that Dawg in em...their older brothers played Defense at a high level.

Leavitt had a older brother Dallin that was a DB in the NFL

& Burrow both had older brother that was a stud LBer @ Nebraska

With Leavitt’s running ability, in addition to his accuracy, we should have great QB play

I don't want to compare the two but one thing I have noticed is how confident Leavitt carries himself just like Tom Brady.

Joe has stronger arm

There is no comparison, Joe is the best to ever play in college. WTF would you even breath his name with others

I do not recall a quarterback receiving so much scrutiny online over one bad game quite like Sam Leavitt. This one bad showing apparently means everyone can forget he led Arizona State to the playoffs and almost beat Texas with a way less talented roster.

I don't know that we can say that for sure, but we can confidently say he had the greatest receiving group to ever play in college.

Any comps with Joe burrow before Leavitt plays his first game are unfair
