My apologies for not reading every post on the whole board
re: Why Not Eric Bieniemy?

There's always a way. I'd take a chance on him. He's been mentioned in almost every NFL head coaching vacancy so if he came and killed it dont know how long he'd stay
They posted a job opening on the PGA website today for a GM stating salary north of $200k annually
Out of left field

Completely out of left field for the new #LSU head coach... Sean Payton. He makes $9M in NO & Saints are going nowhere fast. Pay him $12M he's loved by the whole state and recruiting would happen on its own for the offense. Why not?
Joe Brady learned from him. Saints have no QB and dont see one on the hotizon. Great offensive mind, think the players would immediately buy in. But as long as I'm dreaming why not swing for the fences

Did my Callaway staff fitting last week at Golf Club of Houston. Epic Speed driver to replace my Mavrik and 3w, new Apex irons, already have the Jaws wedges and they're going back to the white hot on putters.
re: Maybe unpopular opinion: Houston Memorial Park

The pros hated the course. Good friend caddies on tour and said most did not like it. Jason Day was asked about fairways and said "pretty thin mate". Tyrell Hatton said first and last time he's playing here.
Memorial is also fixing to piss off a bunch of Houston area players with their rate increase. If you don't live in Houston city limits, $120 during the week Mon-Thu, $140 on weekends cart not included

Had myself, one of our other assistant pros and my soon to be 92 year old stepfather out at Walden on Lake Conroe in Houston area. We played tips, my stepdad played the red, all 3 rounds in the 70s. The 851st time my stepfather has shot his age or below. I'd kill to have his game at his age.
Plenty of good options depends what area you live in. I work at Meadowbrook Farms in Katy which is semi private but plenty of good courses.
Last thing I heard was people in Harris and immediately surrounding counties would get a local rate, but outsude of that the price goes way up.
I know its supposed to be open for 1 year before it can be a tour stop and since the 19 Houston Open has passed, i wonder what that does if anything to the 2020 date

Two aces but no double eagles. First ace was 1999 at Jimmy Clay golf course in Austin, second one was last year at Cypress Lakes in Houston. 7iron from 177.
Falconhead?
Its getting better, came back some at Panorama. If youre back in town I have Monday off

Played twice last week. Played in our early morning member game at Meadowbrook Farms. Shot 32/36 for a year low 68 with 8 birdies on only 22 putts.
Also went to Panorama Village in Conroe. Putter wasnt quite as hot and didnt play well on my first 9, then played even on the back for a 76.
Ahh golf inconsistency

Fuston is at Woodlands CC also known as the old TPC course where they used to hold Houston Open. It is Club Corp as well. Patrick Reed's home course.
