No need for a WYS.

Probably Ellendale and LaTour only

i got my golf net and hitting mat out of my dads garage from 20 years ago and have been putting it to good use in the back yard. also been chipping at buckets. chipping is by far the worst part of my game. hoping to make some improvements in this extended winter break.

i dont wanna snitch on any courses that may or may not be allowing play in violation of local ordinances. but i walked 9 holes last weekend as our forefathers did and it wasnt too bad.

Golf League this Saturday at MetroWest Golf Club in Orlando.
Probably not the smartest thing.
May get cancelled.

My daughter peeled back my eyelids at 6 this morning asking what time we're going to the golf course, because she needs to practice. The kid is hooked.

We walked 5 holes at Bayou Bend. She got tired after 3, so we played 6 then 9. I shot -1 w/ an Eagle on 9.

Just played 9.

Finished with a flourish for me.

Par on 5,6,7,8 and 9.

I had a pickleball game to get to so I left at turn.

80 at Pelican Point Lakes today. 3 doubles thanks to 3 balls in water. 2 birdies, including a 2 putt birdie on my 18th. Is there anything better than a birdie on the last hole you play?

89 at Santa Maria today...a rare time for me to break 90 there.

Went 47-42.

Was +11 after 7 and ready to throw my clubs into a lake after an 8 on #7--then rattled off 5 straight pars, mainly because I suddenly remembered how to hit iron shots again.

What an amazing/frustrating game golf is. +11 the first 7 holes, then went +6 the final 11. Go figure.

Today was my first time playing Santa Maria since the quarantine. It's in pretty good shape. Greens still sandy, but rolled pretty well. I went about 3:30 and expected it to be crowded, but I played pretty much straight through.

I've never actually played the Lakes before. How does it compare to the Links? Is it a bit shorter? And is it more walkable than the Links?

Much easier to walk since there aren’t giant gaps between holes. There are 3 par 3s, so it’s a par 35 for 9 and par 70 for 18. That makes the total length shorter, but there are some stout holes. #5 is a long par 4. The main defense is the shape of the greens and knowing where not to hit it based on the pin positions. The conditions are usually good, and it’s a fun course to play.

40-35 for a 75 at Beaver Creek today. 5 bogeys in the first 7 holes. Then birdied 9 and 10 before parring out from 11 on.

Golf is a funny game. Didn't feel like I hit the ball as well today as I did yesterday, but my misses were in good spots and I hit a few 8-12 foot putts that made my score look better than it probably should have been.
