Lane Kiffin’s team beat BK’s team

There were roster changes and some big money paid by LSU to bolster BK’s team, but most of OM’s team were Lane’s recruits. They were a team that didn’t have to be recreated.
I think what is most telling is the misdirected respect to Lane after the game by former players shunning him without a handshake. If they didn’t care deeply for him then why would they even do that? That was a why did you leave us and we’re pissed that you did. And pissed they were and that’s how they played.
That was hurt feelings because they had something going with LK and then he left them. And I understand that. They’re just kids and are upset that they lost the coach they loved and believed that he could get them where they wanted to be.
But at the same time it tells me they know that Golding’s days are numbered and he can take Ole Miss only so far.
OM’s best chance to remain relevant was with CLK. Golding will be looking for a job in 3 years.
CLK is my coach and I have wanted him as the Tiger’s coach for years.

Why do people think this? They added 29 players out of the portal. Some went to the NFL and some followed him to LSU. Yea Chambliss and Lacy were his, but that’s not “Lane’s team” anymore

Shitty thing is, when Pete gets fired Lane will probably hire him as LSU’s DC.

This board has been coping hard for a good 72 hours now.
LSU lost to Ole Miss, fricking own it instead of trying to explain it away as an anomaly. Maybe it was, but as of right now, Ole Miss is in a better spot than us.
We'll see if that remains. Trying to act like 99% of the Rant didn't go into the game thinking Kiffin's coaching would wipe the floor with Golding's coaching is disingenuous as hell. And then to act like the loss was no big deal after the fact is some beta bullshite.

Ole Miss returned 61% of their snaps from last year. That is a huge number in the portal area. LSU was in the 30% range.

Who cares about the analytics, it's over upsets happen all the time like almost every week in college football. LSU still has everything in front of them they want to achieve. Right now a complete game is #1 on the list
