Spain and Portugal. It was incredible the food, the wine, and the history were hard to beat.

My dad just moved to a little town in Portugal, pretty close to Seville. I'm fricking stoked to go there later this year. Might take off for a month and take advantage of how small and easily traversable Europe is.

Four Seasons Whistler - not ski in/out, but they have a FS only equipment building adjacent the Blackcomb lift.

Whistler has an enormous amount of skiable acreage and all variations of trails. Two separate villages with great bars and restaurants. Good snow shoeing, zip lining. We rented a car as we flew into Vancouver, but never used it for 8 days.

All inclusive resort in Cancun with a wedding party. People can bitch all they want about having to spend money going to a wedding, but that was the best time I’ve ever had. The resort was awesome but mostly being in a group with other couples made it a great time.

Pretty much anything outdoor related you can think of. Plenty of ski hills, hiking, boating, etc.,

Seville
is awesome. Every restaurant we went to was great. Always order the house wine when you are over there. They pride themselves on having amazing house wine to where there is no point in buying a super expensive bottle off the wine list.

My wife and I spent two weeks in Europe before we started having kids. UK, France and Italy. Hit all the sites, booked guided tours, and ate/drank like kings. I would highly recommend everyone do something like that once.

We spent a week in Hawaii two years before that which would be my number 2. Just depends on what your ideal vacation is.

My kids are young (4 and 2) and we have had some family vacays with them, but so far those are more stress than enjoyable. I reserve the right to amend this response in 5-10 years.

2 week trip at 42 with GF at the time, flew into Amsterdam (2 days), train to Dusseldorf to meet friends that live there (2 days incl. day in Cologne), road trip catching sites on the Rhine down to Munich for 3 days at the final weekend of Oktoberfest. Say goodbye to friends and hop on train to Rome with one overnight at Innsbruck in the Austrian Alps, Back on train through the Italian Alps and Tuscan Region for another overnight in Florence before back on the train and finishing off the last 5 days in Rome. Pretty spectacular time!

The ones my kids now request to go with us as adults. We have had some great trips as a couple and some great family trips when the kids were little. But nothing was better than the first time they asked me to plan a trip for the family when I thought they were too grown to want to vacation with mom and dad anymore. We don't have one planned now but in the span of 3 months we will spend a long weekend with each of our 4 kids separately which is no small feat since we all live many states away. That makes it the best.

Either Tortola in BVI or Oregon. BVI is self explanatory. Oregon we stayed in Newburg outside Portland and toured wineries for 4-5 days. Every night was a lavish meal with more wine. Dropped more money on that trip than any other, mostly bc I’d get hammered and start having boxes of wine shipped home.
