Tampa is the shite.
For smaller size city - Tallahassee
Medium size city - Ft Lauderdale and *Downtown* Orlando on any weekend / holiday night
Large size city - Atlanta area - so much to do every single weekend

I enjoy St. Pete/Clearwater and pretty much all of Pinellas co. as well.

I lived there and had a great time. I think the Falcons camped at Furman a few miles away. Bar area is great, I met Tommy Lasorda there. The ladies were accommodating during that era. Being able to get to nature 30 minutes from where I lived (minor hiking) was golden.
International: Name a random place in Ireland not named Dublin.
Wroclaw, Poland. Architecture is beautiful, and they build some beautiful shite. Nightlife is, let's say, Eastern European University town. Tons of activity, tons of scenery, but the chicks are checking out your shoes and watch before you turn your head.

Best hidden food town in the planet.
Maybe not anymore but I visited there about 15 years ago and the food scene was next level

Detroit and Philadelphia
I’ve been to both within the last 3 years. Aside from some bums every now and then, these places had safe feeling downtowns. The history and architecture is awesome. You can essentially tour for yourself.
Major sports all around if that’s your thing.
The food scenes are outstanding.
Plenty of museums for both. A sneaky pick for my favorite activity in Philly was touring the Eastern State Penitentiary.

Sioux Falls, SD. During the summer, it’s not near as enjoyable in the winter.

I’ve actually heard that DOWNTOWN Detroit is awesome but the rest of the city is junk

Certainly hope so. I may be there in a few weeks to catch a Tigers game.

I went to a Tigers game during Memorial Day weekend in 2022. It looked pretty nice there: some new restaurants and apartment buildings. It's come a long way from what it was back in the early 2000's.

That place was way bigger than I thought. I think it has a population of roughly 100,000.

Seville
Didn’t know much about it going in but had a great time there. Great vibe, food, really enjoyed being there.

Durango, CO - get into Mountains quickly with skiing and summer mountain activities nearby at Purgatory resort. Mesa Verde National Park is nearby. Good fishing and rafting nearby in summer.
Chatanooga, TN - beautiful smallish town with good hiking all around.

Chattanooga for sure. Most underrated southern city I've been to.
