All my kids are out of diapers thankfully. But, they are all still young. 10 and under.
We do the beach every year so not that. Already booked. Looking for things outside of the beach.
Any special one off type trips you are doing or did with your kids?

Get a National Parks passport book for each and start knocking them off. They’ll remember that forever and will pass these trips down to their kids

All inclusive farm stays are cool. Basically bed and breakfast with hiking, riding horses, shooting guns, etc.
Also, national parks.
Also, national parks.

What are 3-4 you think to start with?

Glacier.
Yellowstone in the winter.
We're doing the northern great lakes in a month or so.

Not much longer and they will love the various Smithsonian museums. Air and Space along with Natural History are usually a big hit. Hard to judge when the rest of DC will capture the imagination, it varies from kid to kid.

Get those harnesses so they can't run away. Condition them with treats so they like the harnesses.

My family would always go skiing for the week between Christmas and New Year. I really enjoyed that. Some years my Dad and all my aunts and uncles would rent a huge house and I would get to hang out with all my cousins (we're all about the same age) for the entire week.

Vegas. Seriously, its becoming more family friendly. In the late 90s there was plan to turn Vegas into more than a gambling spot. The goal was to make it a place for entertainment as well.. And I think in 2019.. Entertainment passed gambling in terms of generating more tax dollars. They actually have a lot of kid shite already, I know there was this big track that also had other stuff for kids, but the track was for racing gokart type cars.
Its is seriously probably better than Disney. Its cheaper. You can get good rooms that might be nicer than something at disney for cheaper. There are a lot of things that will cost, but overall it is likely cheaper than Disney and you can tell the people who dress up as characters to frick off, because they are just losers who try to hustle people to take pictures with them for money.

Assuming you’re in the southeast, I’d start with the Smokies and a trip to Cades Cove. Very likely they’ll see bears. You can find elk and other animals as well.
Yellowstone is a bit more expensive to get to but the wildlife is great in the Lamar Valley. It’s a classic national park and a must do.
I haven’t been to Yosemite but I know enough about it that it would be on the list.
You can make a trip out of Grand Canyon, Zion, and Bryce Canyon. That would be pretty memorable. I think my daughter liked that trip the best

Hadn’t been to Vegas in about 5-6 years, but I remember being surprised at how many family’s had kids with them

It snowed on me in Yellowstone in June. They had just opened up Beartooth pass and it had ice on the road. I wouldn’t try it in winter.

Snow tours of the park in snowcats or snowmobiles. We stay in island park and then depart via jackson hole.

Glacier, Zion, Grand Tetons. To name a few

I would wait until they are older than 10 to hit National Parks.
The best trips for kids are where you do kid stuff.
San Diego has the Zoo, Sea World, Legoland and other stuff. Orlando has Disney, Universal, etc. If they like sports, then you can visit a stadium or a HOF. Waterparks are usually a hit.
