Anyone familiar with VIP Ticket Giveaway? Their Website

I entered a raffle at an Astros game to guess the number of balls in a bucket and apparently I won a trip to a destination of my choice (Orlando, Vegas, and Hawaii were some of their suggestions). They called and asked for a bunch of random info such as relationship status, email address, phone #, and approx. income so I became skeptical and asked if this was a timeshare pitch. They said I would need to go to a 90 minute timeshare pitch tomorrow to claim it but the only thing I would have to pay is the taxes on the trip. She said no timeshare purchase would be required and that I had already won, but I'm skeptical to take the time out of my day tomorrow to go.

My wife and I went to a timeshare presentation in Las Vegas once for a credit card program.
We received three free hotel nights, a free dinner, free drinks, tickets to a Vegas show and credit card reward points.
NEVER AGAIN. It was a horrible experience for both of us. The pressure to sign up for a timeshare was unbelievable. They can have the freebies. We don't want them again. We'll pay our way for what we want to do travel wise.

FYI they probably told everyone that entered they won. That’s the idea, they just wanted to get your info as a lead.

What exactly made it so high pressure?

Is it really that hard to just say no to their pitch and enjoy the trip?

They just ask you over and over and over again. Just have to say no repeatedly. It’s not like this guy or gal doesn’t hear it every day

It is not usually a scam, but there are restrictions in the travel and requirements in that you must attend one or more presentations to qualify for ? and /or to not owe any money.

It is a way to get likely quaified buyers... YOU WILL BE PRESSURED be ready to stand by NO.
I have done some NEVER AGAIN, but not really a scam.
