Things to do in Asheville

What are some good things to do in Asheville? We are already planning on a brewery tour and Sierra Nevada and a hike to Chimney Rock but any other suggestions or ideas on where to eat?

We were just there over Valentines weekend. That place has boomed to the point that it was annoyingly packed. Early Girl Eatery is good for brunch and definitely check out Curate. You'll need a reservation.

Sierra Nevada is a beautiful property and definitely worth a visit. New Belgium is great as well, though not quite as scenic.

Pub crawl downtown is good for a full day. Biltmore Estate. Go for a hike or visit Chimney Rock. Take a tour of Moog

LITERALLY the single most overrated place in the United States I have ever been. And I’ve been to a ton of places. I was stunned at how average a small town it was. Below average actually.

When are you going? My wife and I went in late March a couple of years ago and went white water rafting. One day we just went to the part of town "Down the Hill" where all the craft breweries are and just walked and went to about 6 different ones and ate from food trucks. We also did a day at Biltmore.

I'd recommend jump off rock in hendersonville, great views and some cool hiking. If the parkway is open go climb Mount Pisgah. I used to live there and thought the downtown food was a little much with trying to be unique. We liked Flat Rock food the best. Honey and Salt has the best breakfast, but its only open on the weekends. Flat Rock wood room is legit BBQ as well
