You called the executive office about a flight? And someone helped you?
Executive offices is Southwest's advanced customer service location.
Its where you go to get vouchers and shite. Have that number on speed dial as much as I fly with them
ETA: And if you're truly preferred, how do you not know about that?

Ahhhhh gotcha. Good luck, sir!

I am flying to and from Dallas Love Field to MSY on Southwest this Saturday, returing on Sunday for the LSU game. My flights show to still be active and available. Should I be concerned?

You should be all set if southwest still shows it as available. What flights are you on? They did cancel everything for tomorrow dal-msy, not sure why

Cancelled my Vegas flights last night and got a full refund without issue on Wanna Get Away fares. They have a special 'New Orleans Operations' advisory which covers the refund policy.
edit: Also spoke to a human to do it. They called me back within 45 minutes.

Man, the flight situation at MSY is dire.

SWest flight to Orlando on September 18th was cancelled and not rebooked. Return flight was cancelled and automatically rebooked, both were on September 22nd. Both were non-stops. No flight out but a flight back. Wow
Got a refund and booked Delta. Then, the leg from MSY to Atlanta on the 18th was cancelled. Had to rebook both legs by phone to get to Orlando on the 18th.

I feel you. I was up late last night trying to figure it out. I seriously considered driving because return flights were abhorrent. Burning miles on AA to get home.

SWA canceled our nonstop to DCA weeks before Ida and put us on some multi stop itinerary. I changed that to a single stop, but then they canceled because of storm. I got a refund. Ended up buying two nonstop tickets on AA and now we're in D.C.

SW decided today to cancel my MSY to PHX leg tomorrow morning. Then the rep got aggravated because I wanted a refund since they couldn't get me to Seattle as planned.

Holy shite this thread is a buzzkill. I just checked my status for MSY-LAS for sun oct 4 and it says it’s still on? Should I be nervous?

When next weekend on AA? I'm in and out wed-sun but haven't seen anything major from them yet

Ye....they changed my layover in DFW from 90 minutes to 4 hours coming from from Cancun.
We changed the route to get home from going through DFW to come home through Charlotte so at least the schedule is closer to what it was before.

Friday to Sunday MSY to O'Hare

fricking American just cancelled another one. Now pushed back two hours, need to reschedule airport transfer, no seats together. Such a pain in the arse.
I feel like I ordered the chicken parm but they decided to give me lasagna instead because their chick parm guy quit. When I asked for ravioli instead of lasagna, they've charged me $20

Southwest changes are just bizarre. Had a non-stop flight cancelled to Nashville next weekend. Understand that one.
Had another overnight to Houston scheduled for the 29th. Needed to get in early evening Wednesday and fly back early evening the following day. They cancelled all afternoon n/s flights - had two an hour apart in the morning. I would have thought they would have kept fairly regular service to HOU.
