What's wrong with Breck? Vail sucks. If you really want to go somrehere else I'd go to Copper.

Vail is big and very crowded. I prefer Beaver Creek to Vail. But honestly, no reason to leave Breckenridge.

Any particular recommendations on where to ski in Vail?

If you’re going to Vail, I’d ski in Vail

Copper mountain is a quick drive down I70, but if you already bought a multi-day Epic Pass then it won’t work there. Better to go to Vail, which is huge.

Both mountains have greens greens at the top of the mountain instead of skiing the base of the mountain at Breck.

Eh, not right now. You wants greens, you go out west or the one run off Flyer. At least thats the case at Copper currently.

Honestly Breck is probably your best bet currently for the terrain you ski.

The ones with snow are the best ones to start looking at

My son is at Copper Mountain right now and he sent some pics this afternoon and it’s covered in fresh powder.

With that big LSU group there right now? I was overjoyed with all the purple and gold on the mountain today.

There's powder places, the skiing wasnt bad today but the easier terrain really isnt in great shape currently. Beside like the very bottom of west and that one run off Flyer.

Yeah that guy is crazy.
There are blues at Abasin that would be double black at Breck

Imperial Bowl at Breck (double black) would be an average blue at ABay

Bacon bloody mary at ABay legit though

Go to Copper. The greens and easy blues are mostly to one side of the mountain and have a good bit of vertical to them.

I've seen so many intermediate skiers complaining to liftys after going down loafer, I always get a chuckle from it.

Breck does have some difficult terrain but most of the blacks are very tame.

The OP should just stay at Breck or maybe checkout Keystone for a change of pace.

He said he stayed on the blues all day today and yesterday. He said he never touched the greens.

I’ve only been to A-Basin and Steamboat

He’s been to Steamboat several times.
This is his first time at Copper Mountain but he knows what he’s doing

Fair chance we ski passed one another then. Pretty much spammed the blues on the middle of the mountain today.

That section is pretty good at this point, hence why I spent my day there too.

My trip to scout the easy blues off timberline, not so great with the snow.

Best advice in the thread.

I’ve been to Vail and Breck both multiple times

Peak 10 blacks are like anywhere else Blues. For me Breck is too high and crowded. Vail Village is awesome and back bowls … well you know the saying

Snow Ski Recommendations…

Powder skis, all mountain skis, park skis, groomer skis?

I have several pairs for different conditions/days.

I know it's gonna be a good day and my quads will be on fire at the end of the day when I'm on these.
