I think it’s around 5:00 PM. Don’t feel like looking it up right now. Paid for my Clear Plus and I’m just going to deal with that comes up.

Screw politicians!

I'll let you know how it is tomorrow morning. Flight is at 10am and I usually arrive at 845 for that flight with 0 issues. Went ahead and booked my uber to drop me off by 7 to be safe.

I flew from MSY to Vegas Thursday and back yesterday, and TSA lines were pretty clear and normal for those flight times. Actually back in MSY yesterday I walked by TSA and the Precheck line was longer than the regular line, neither were bad though.

I've been seeing some vids of MSY lately on line and there have been some very unusually long lines. As always its luck of the draw

I’m not sure if they pick 5-6am on a Monday to do that after an event or not. I travel a lot for work and have experienced those WTF lines, even for Pre-check and Clear.

I have a 10:30 flight this morning out of MSY. I got here earlier than usual to be safe. No lines. I was through security in < 5mins. Standard TSA was really short.

It looked like business as usual today.

Arrived at IAH at 645 and Pre through E took 20 minutes…. Clear was prob double that and I can’t even imagine what regular was.

On a side note, just walked by C and they are taking people through security there

If I had to guess. Was no reason to go through with Pre bc you were bunched with non-pre clear and it was backed up.

Pre steadily kept moving with 5 agents processing people and one directing.

Clear only had 2 terminals operating and if you’ve got clear, you know how that can go.

Spoke with someone in airport who went through A at 7am and said there was no line in Pre.

Thanks for the updates. Connected, I don't think airport lounges are worth the costs of keeping special cards for people who don't travel alot. But at times like this it does soften the blow of arriving earlier than normal just in case TSA is screwed, assuming you can actually get in the lounge without a wait.

Yesterday at IAH they were allowing Global Services to use the C security line.

That would make sense… When I walked by and saw it open, I was surprised. But in all honesty, there were way too many people going through to only be Global Services.

I’d imagine anyone that was checking a back at C was told to proceed through, rather than fight their way over to E or A to go through security.

Sorry to keep asking dumb questions on here, but what is the advantage of having pre check along with Clear?
I got my clear plus now and it was great yesterday.
Just remembered that with my Chase United card I can get Pre for free. So is it just a matter of being able to choose which line is shorter?

Since the shoe removal is no longer required, I wonder the same thing.

I just made it through E with Clear Plus in less than 10 minutes.

Also got into United Club with one of my one time passes even though it’s before the 3 hour before flight rule.
Good day so far.

It seemed like it when I signed up but really didn’t pay much attention to the details. LOL

I've had Clear forever, but not sure what I actually have.

ETA: Logging in, I see that Clear Plus is just the name of the membership. (Clear is the name of the company).

Since it's existed, people calling it "Pre" has annoyed the shite out of me. The trademark is for "TSA PRECHECK." But you added words to CLEAR, which indicates more effort, even though it's CLEAR+. Fair play
