Places where the photos DO it justice

Most of the time, at beautiful locations, the photos do NOT do them justice. We did a US Southwest parks tour last summer, and just about everywhere was unbelievably beautiful (e.g. The Grand Canyon, Zion, and Bryce Canyon).
But while Antelope Canyon was lovely, we will only be going that one time...the photos really do it justice (it is also rather expensive on the Indian reservation)

I've never been, but Mt. Rushmore often seems to get cited in this regard.
I will say the St. Louis Arch for me.
Every natural wonder I've been to has been better in the actual setting than any photo could capture.

I’m guessing anything in India is better viewed in a photo than actually being there to see it in person.

Not a knock because I've been twice and loved every second, but Cannon Beach is exactly as the photos show. Grey, windy, hoodies everywhere.

I've been, and I tend to agree. I'm glad I went, but really it is just like you see in pictures. There are several places along highway 244 where you can see it and may be a little more scenic because you get more of the surrounding section of the Black Hills.
I would put the Crazy Horse memorial in the same category, along with the Arch and a few of the iconic skylines (Chicago, NYC).

Some of those Switzerland pictures look out of a green screen
Just breathtaking

Grand Canyon photos rarely capture the expanse of the area...especially from the North Rim looking West.

Felt like I was walking in a postcard in a lot of the jungfrau region of Switzerland. ESP Lauterbrunnen, wengen, & murren

I'll go with the Taj Mahal. Very nice and all, but not really overwhelmingly great. The photos at least don't have thousands of tourists taking selfies. Seriously - it's a pretty cool place. But not much more than that. A few days later I was at Hagia Sophia and I thought that was much more interesting.

It was very small and underwhelming to me
But to answer the OP, Big Bend area is amazing. Not just the park but the entire area from Alpine, Marfa, Ft Davis to the park to Ruidosa

Agree with Eiffel Tower and Big Ben
A lot of the big city sites have better photos than the in person experience from sheer number of people and the scammers
However the pyramid area in front of the Louvre, the Arc du Triompe, and Tower of London are all better in person
Any natural place is so much better in person because you feel the open air and sense of scale. My Angel's Landing pictures from Zion are great but even the video doesn't come close to the experience of having those sheer cliffs right next to your feet.

You'd be wrong but I get why you'd say that
