Need help picking my next vacation destination with a couple options in mind.

Background info. Would just be the wife and I. Both in our mid 50’s. Neither interest in any kind of party scene/nightlife. We both enjoy snorkeling. We have been to the Florida Keys a few times. Our last trip was Iceland and was awesome but definitely not relaxing. Spent 10 days living out of a camper van as we traveled around Iceland and doing tons of hiking. Looking for something pretty chill for next trip.
Option 1 is going to Antigua and staying a 5 nights at All Inclusive Hawksbill Resort in a bungalow right on the beach. Would spend the majority of trip relaxing. Would likely rent a car one day to check out some local stuff but mainly just relaxing on the beach.
Option 2 is going to Exhuma and renting a car and an Airbnb. Found one on the beach that looks decent. Would rent a boat from Minns Marina in Georgetown one day and spend the day checking out Stocking Island and the surrounding waters. Probably spend another day hitting up some of the beaches on Exhuma.
The water around Exhuma looks amazing but kind of like the idea of All Inclusive aspect of the Antigua resort and not having to worry about meals and drinks. What does the Travel board think? Either way I want a place right on the water. Doesn’t have to be 5 Star luxury accommodations.

If you're looking to relax and not have to worry about things, it's hard to be a GOOD all inclusive

But those tend to make you eat many of your meals and have many of your drinks at the resort. Some people won't leave it...so why travel all the way to another country to not experience the local scene? Just go to Miami or the Keys.

Thanks. Will check that out. Didn’t know they did that. Have already done Cozumel. We stayed in Playa Del Carmen about 10 years ago and saw Cozumel while we were there. That was actually the last vacation we took with the kids before they all flew the nest. Did a fishing charter and my daughter caught a King Mackerel and son caught a Wahoo.

Have done 3 all-inclusive, and every one of them offered tours that took you off of the resort. I would suspect that there is a large majority of the guests that just stay at the resort, enjoy the beach/water, "free food & drinks; but there are options if you're willing to take them.
Personally, I would do the all-inclusive over Exhuma; but would look at the tour options over renting a car and checking it out myself. When we did Antigua, we did the Sandals resort and took the bus to the flea market, did the horseback riding tour, the 4-wheel tour, and the sunset boat cruise.

I have the perfect option for you: Small Hope Bay Lodge
All inclusive. Amazing water. Fantastic snorkeling and scuba. Next level fishing (shallow, reef/bottom, and deep sea).
Only 12 cabins, all on the beach just a few steps from the water. You will be barefoot the entire stay -- no sidewalks. No concrete jungle -- just sand.
Food is always top-notch, but nothing super fancy. Bar is ALWAYS open -- and without a doubt, you will have a bar tender end up making you some good tropical drinks, a fellow guest may serve you, and you will also be able to tend bar for others or serve yourself.
No kids under 12 at the dinner tables, they stay in the kids' club and eat there during dinner.
Explore the blue holes, or kayak in the mangroves (my favorite thing, other than scuba).
100% guarantee an enjoyable and relaxing vacation. You will want to go back. (we've made 7 trips there).
That said, we've also made a lot of VRBO trips to Eleuthera -- can't go wrong with VRBO on an out island.
