You're not gonna die but you are gonna be uncomfortable for six hours. Have a drink or two

Its been said that flying in an airplane is safer than driving a car down the highway.

When you start to feel uneasy, just remember you are sitting in a metal tube barreling through the sky.

All kidding aside, also remember that the pilots probably don't want to die just as much as you don't want to die.

You are not likely to die in a crash.

Drugs and alcohol are not the answer.

You can do it.

You’ll be safer in the air than you’ll be on the ground.

Just in case, grab you a little Dramamine, have 1 drink before leaving ... alcohol affects you more in the air...do not over do it,
Main thing, relax, get a window seat so you can enjoy a new perspective.
No one in the crew wants to die...they are with you.
If it were to get a little bumpy for a short period, it's OK the pilots will alert you before and nothing to worry about.

2013 was a rough year. Of course, it was only a small sampling of 9 million departures and 8 billion miles flown.
