I had never been to Ferriday until about 3 weeks ago. The OT was right. T'was a lovely place

Like the Lower 9th Ward without the rest of New Orleans around it. As Skip Bertman would say “a tornado would do a million dollars worth of improvements”.

Lakes St. John and Concordia are nice, though.

I'll go Boston, NYC and SF.

Mom lives in Boston and dad lives in NYC, so those trips are always for pleasure. I'm out in SF quite a bit for work, but still find a few hours each day to myself. Always enjoy it.

I'd have to say Venice for me. Second favorite would probably be Porto.

Drives me non tourist: Greenville SC (second choice Wilmington NC).

Domestic flight: hard to say - US cities can be awfully generic (I’m looking at you Atlanta). Probably Boston. Second choice Miami.

Overseas moderate flight: London. Feels comfortable , yet still foreign and lots going on.

Long overseas flight: Cape Town. Culture, food, natural beauty, and amazing paragliding.
